HPE at LiveWorx 2019 - Simplified Convergence

Visit booth 725 to see HPE Converged Edge Systems in action showcasing real-time video analytics at the edge, on a compact ruggedized HPE Edgeline 300 system. Smile at the camera, and the embedded VPU module with four Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X vision processing units will detect if you’re smiling (and if so dispense a candy).  Processing video is a great example of a workload best suited to the edge, rather than in the cloud, given the large amount of bandwidth required to transfer the video stream (vs the results).  The demo uses the Intel OpenVINO™  framework for applying AI and DL for video inferencing.

Also on show at the booth will be the EL1000 (with up to 16 Intel Xeon cores) and recently introduced EL8000, a modular chassis in a ruggedized form factor offering high-performance compute at the edge.  Features up to 4 HPE compute blades with Intel Xeon SP, remote management and security.

HPE Converged IT / OT  systems are also featured in the X-Factory, with HPE Edgeline EL300 and ThingWorx Kepware edge powering the individual assembly stations of the X-Factory RZR assembly line.  The HPE Edgeline EL1000 will be running the heart of the operation with the Factory Talk Innovation Suite, the X-Factory Apps, FactoryTalk Production Center, Windchill and Vuforia Experience Server.

Showcasing process manufacturing, the X-Factory BrewWorx will include a demonstration of how you could runThingWorx and FactoryTalk software on Microsoft Azure Stack using HPE ProLiant servers at the edge.

Cloudera will also be with us on the booth, accelerating the promise of Industry 4.0, with a pre-tested PTC, Cloudera and HPE solution for streaming analytics on OT data with immediate action at the edge.
