If I took one thing, above all others, home from LiveWorx this year, it was this: Inside and outside retail, the march of technology is picking up an even quicker pace every year – and this is manifesting itself in the broadest and deepest selection of digital solutions I think our industry has ever seen. But in order to make full use of these and to seize new opportunities, every business, bar none requires PLM. From 3D design to AI-driven planning, a central source of accurate information and a full trail of integration and accountability are the foundations that any digital transformation strategy needs to succeed.
