I have 12+ years of PLM implementation experience across a variety of PLM applications. I have worked with many customers in High Tech, Medical Devices, Aerospace and Defense, Pharmaceuticals, and Consumer Packaged Goods. I have spent the past 2 years with Arena/PTC as a Senior Solution Architect, and it has been my genuine pleasure to implement Arena with dozens of customers and to see the great products and services that our customers have been able to build using Arena PLM/QMS. In addition to PLM solution delivery, I also have a software development background in writing API and frontend applications using Java, JavaScript, and other various languages as necessary. I have a passion for technology and strive to use that knowledge whenever I can to enable new capabilities with my customers and to make their jobs a bit easier than before. This session includes details about requests and responses from Arena servers and instructs developers on how to construct requests. This session assumes some familiarity with APIs in general.</p>

PL1706TR - Use and Features of Arena's Access Policies

<p>For detailed, granular control of user access to product information, workspaces can be configured to use Access Policies. Unlike Access Roles, which are a predefined set of privileges that cannot be modified, Access Policies allow the account administrator to define rules that govern access to each World, View, Category, and more, and apply them to individual users or User Groups. This session will cover transitioning from access roles to access policies and how to configure access policies to grant access to specific data.</p>
