He is currently a Senior Application Engineer at EnginSoft where he supports a variety of simulation tools. He primarily works with customers on multi-body dynamics and multi-physics problems.

CA1217B - Why Motion Matters

This talk will start by explaining what multi-body dynamics is, when it should be used, and the key areas to consider when deciding between a CAD-integrated vs. dedicated MBD tool. To reinforce those concepts a deceptively complex problem of determining the maximum acceleration of a bottle moving through an assembly line will be considered at various levels of complexity. Starting with a simple hand calculation up to a 4-solver co-simulation, attendees will see how the physics included in a model affects its results.
