PTC continues to make our customers, partners, and the robust portfolio of products you rely on, our number one priority. Since we last hosted LiveWorx, we’ve seen great success with smaller, intimate gatherings that have allowed us to deliver meaningful experiences. We want to continue to deliver these experiences to you and as a result, we have decided to shift our 2025 global event strategy. We will no longer be hosting LiveWorx in Boston in May 2025.
PLM Manager , iRobot
Scott Morris is a 30 year veteran of the CAD/CAM/PLM industry and is currently the PLM Manager in Global Information Systems at iRobot. Scott leads a small team responsible for enterprise PLM applications for mechanical and electrical engineering. Scott recently led the effort to move PLM from the on-prem data center to private cloud in AWS with support from Infosys and AWS. This enabled the business to go-live with the latest versions of Windchill, Creo, Nexus and Altium Designer with a single cut-over. Prior to joining iRobot, Scott was a Product Management leader in the enterprise software industry. His expertise in Agile/SCRUM guided the development and evolution of Master Data Management, Internet of Things, Product Lifecycle Management, Project Management and CAD/CAM software solutions. He initiated the creation of a new PLM platform at Stibo Systems and launched numerous Thingworx solutions, Windchill capabilities and Creo enhancements with PTC. As a Boston University lecturer, Scott is a digital learning systems expert and teaches CAD with skills in Creo Parametric, Solidworks and Onshape. Scott coaches FIRST robotics Team 1474 - Titans at Tewksbury Memorial High School in Massachusetts and is a long time supporter of FIRST robotics. With support from the team’s mentors, students design and build a complex robot for the FIRST Robotics Competition in the New England District. Scott earned a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. In his free time, Scott is an avid motorcyclist and can be found on the backroads of New England on any given weekend. He is always looking for the opportunity to ride south to the Blue Ridge Parkway or west to the Rocky mountains.
